If you have ever wondered what it would be like to ride a saddle seat type horse, come to this event!
If you don't have a saddle seat type horse to ride, horses are available for you to ride. They are a mix of Morgan, Saddlebred, and Arabian horses. But register now! Only so many horses are available and the clinic is getting booked up. Horses are available on a first come, first served basis. Audit positions are also available.
Smith & Alexandra Lilly are revered facilitators & trainers in the Saddle Seat world!
Rider spots in the Clinic are filling up, but some are still available!
Auditors are welcome!
The Schooling Show on Sunday is
Open To All Breeds, and
open to those attending or
not attending the clinic.
Lots of fun and special moments are built into this event!
A variety of classes are offered.
Saddle Seat, Hunter, Western as well as driving and In-hand.

The MHAO General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 8th, 2026 at 11am in the Open Schooling Horse Show's show office. This is during the lunch break for the Open Schooling Show. Estimated time for it is 1/2 to 1 hour. You won't miss the Dog show!
Everyone is welcome to attend. Come join us! We will talk about your clubs plans for the year. And we would love to hear your ideas.

MHAO Booth At the Oregon AgFest Event

Last year, over 23,000 people attended Ag Fest to touch, taste and experience the incredible world of Oregon agriculture, in a fun-filled, festive environment. This two-day event, aimed to help families better understand where their food, fiber, and flora come from, is a unique learning experience where hands-on exhibits make learning about Oregon’s vast agricultural industry educational and entertaining.
The goal is to bridge the gap between urban and rural life, and to share the wonder and abundance of Oregon’s bountiful and diverse harvest. Most importantly, it is done in a family friendly way, where kids 15 and under receive free admission, and virtually all activities at the event are free of charge. Thanks to sponsors, kids ride ponies, plant seedlings, watch sheep get sheared, pet farm animals and much, much more! Come check it out for yourself: it takes place the last weekend in April. This will be the 39th annual Oregon Ag Fest.
MHAO will have a promotional booth and Morgan horse at this event! Volunteers are needed to help man our booth and answer questions. Contact Erin Silver, [email protected] if you can help.
